This App was originally developed to train people to multiply 3 digit numbers in their heads. The multiplication game is on the opening screen with 6 other math games available from the instructions screen. The game works by starting off on the first times table and asking randomly generated problems from that table. The user has 8 seconds to type in the correct answer. After 3 correct responses the level increases by one adding the next times table into the randomly generated problems. If the user misses a problem or takes longer than 8 seconds to respond, the level decreases by one and the highest available times table is removed from the pool of potential problems. The level is indicated in the green box in the lower right hand corner of the game display with a theoretical maximum level over 3000. The other available games are in the same format and include addition, subtraction, division, mixed operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with the game maintaining respective levels for each), a scrambler (multiplication with keys from the number pad rearranging between problems) and an extreme scrambler that combines mixed operations with rearranging the keys on the answer pad. The 8 second time constraint with rapidly changing levels provides a user specific intense learning experience for people of all levels from the grade school student first learning arithmetic to the math guru looking to hone their skills.
